Short writeup:

The 2022 Presbyterian High School E Math Paper presents a significant challenge, especially Paper 2. It stands out for its length and complexity, with questions overloaded with information and requiring applications not commonly seen. Despite the difficulty, most students manage to complete it within the time limit.

In contrast, Paper 1 is more straightforward. Most students can tackle its questions with minimal hindrance, serving as a good routine practice to minimize careless mistakes.

As a result, average students might find their scores averaging out or falling below their expectations. This is a valuable learning opportunity.

I recommend taking both Paper 1 and Paper 2 under exam conditions on separate days. This practice simulates the actual O-level exam experience and prepares students mentally for the variation in difficulty between papers.

During the O-level period, it's common to face one paper that is significantly harder than the other in various subjects. This can be demoralizing and impact subsequent performances. By practicing with these papers in one sitting, students can learn to manage their emotions and maintain balance, a crucial skill for the actual exams.

To maximize your preparation, consider engaging in a one-time paid consultation class with me. After marking your exam paper, I'll provide detailed feedback and guide you through each question. This personalized approach will help you understand your mistakes, improve your skills, and boost your confidence for the actual exams.
